These claims by Jesus in His own works, as noted typically in multiple accounts, follow from his claims of who He is As with those claims, these claims are thoseof a liar, a lunatic, or God in human form as Jesus claimed to be. We have already discussed many documented miracles, and who Jesus said he was. Next we will discuss his unerring predictions. as to the future.

► "I am able to forgive sins."
Example One: Here Jesus was in Capernaum with his disciples and crowds. He said clearly he had the power to forgive sins and was accused of blasphemy (claiming to be God) because religious leaders accurately judged that only God can forgive sins.

Example two: A woman anoints his feet with oil and Jesus states that faith in him leads to forgiveness of sins.
